Apex Technologies is hiring a QA Engineer to join our San Jose team.

About the role
You'll own test quality for software releases: writing test plans from requirements, building and maintaining automated test suites, and running exploratory testing where automation can't reach. You'll reproduce and document bugs clearly enough that developers fix them the first time, verify fixes, and sign off on releases. You'll also improve the pipeline itself, adding checks that catch regressions before code reaches a build.
What you will bring
You've tested web or mobile software professionally and can code well enough to build automation, not just record scripts. You're curious about how things break, precise in bug reports, and comfortable telling a team a release isn't ready.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in software quality assurance or test automation
- Hands-on experience with an automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Solid understanding of test planning, bug tracking, and CI pipelines
- Eligibility to work in Canada
